Happy Halloween!!!

We had a very busy and full Halloween in the Kriner house this year.   We are lucky enough to have Uncle Bryson and Amy visiting us this weekend.  First, they went with us to go to Daddy's office.  The girls went in their costumes so all of the ladies at their Daddy's office could see how funny they looked.  The girls love to go and visit their Daddy and Papa at work.  They play with boxes, spin on the stool, and bang on the computers.   Next, we went  downtown for some Halloween festivities and Bryson & Amy got to experience what it is like to take the girls to get their picture taken by a professional.  I tried to have a picture taken of the two of them in their costumes but right on cue Brycie started to wail!!  There is something about someone other than her Mommy taking her picture that really freaks her out.  After the picture fiasco we tried the bouncy house and Ava would only jump in it with her Mom and Brycie preferred to stay with Miss Nicole.  We decided to head home after that to get prepared for our big night!!

Later on this evening we had our first trick or treating experience.  We went across the street to Miss Patty's house and got some of our favorite candy............suckers!!!  Ava caught on quickly and went back for seconds.  Brycie wasn't so sure at first, but she eventually came around.  After that we went back home and played on the porch while all the other trick or treaters came by.  We enjoyed our big night of running around, playing with the pumpkins, and even getting to play with Emma!!

We started off the morning with a little breakfast in bed.

Fall Festival

Tonight we went to our church's fall festival, and we had the best time!!  Papa and Mimi joined us and helped chase Ava & Bryce around (especially Ava).  We saw so many of our friends and got to do all kinds of fun things.  The girls jumped in the bouncy house, played with pumpkins, fished, and did the bean bag toss.   However, their favorite thing to do was probably eating their suckers.  What a mess:)   Everyone loved their costumes and thought they were pretty funny.

North Carolina Weekend

I am lucky enough to be from North Carolina.  There is so much to love about this great state from the barbeque to the Krispy Kreme doughnuts to Appalachian State............ but most importantly are all of our family and friends.  This weekend we made one of our whirlwind trips to visit many of our loved ones.  On Friday we started the day off by visiting all of Ava & Bryce's great grandparents.  Yes, Ava & Bryce were lucky enough to be adored by 2 sets of great grandparents and 1 set of grandparents all in one weekend!!!  After visiting the great grandparents Ava & Bryce went home with Nana so Mommy & Daddy could have a night out with Aunt Joelle.

On Saturday we headed to our friend Addison's first birthday party.  Addison's parents went to ASU with us, and Jonathan and Ashley (Addison's dad) have been friends since they were three years old.  We enjoyed catching up with everybody and it is such a blessing to have all of the next generation of Harvey and Kriner kids together!!  Thanks, Harveys, for letting us be apart of the big day!!  Saturday night we ventured out with Nana, Granddaddy and Joelle to eat some barbeque.  The girls enjoyed their first hushpuppies, but wouldn't try the barbeque.  We will need to work on this.........  Maybe at New Year's we will try it again at Little Richard's??  What do you think, Joe  & Mary??  Anyway we had a great time as usual, and although it still makes me a little sad to leave it is always nice to be back home:)  Thanks to Mom/Nana for the night out and to Joelle for planning it!!   We love all of you and can't wait to get back soon:)

Kate's Princess Party

We were recently lucky enough to be able to go to our friend Kate's princess party.  Ava & Bryce dressed up like princesses right down to their sparkly shoes!!  They had a ball playing in Kate's homemade castle and with all her fun toys.  They also played with bubbles, danced, and hunted for "dragon eggs."  Kate's Mommy & Daddy did an amazing job making Kate's party so special.  We were so glad that we were able to attend.   Unfortunately, we had to leave a little early when the girls were so tired they decided to lay on the floor.  They were pooped, so we had to head home for nap time.  Hopefully Ava & Bryce will eventually be into all things princess because it sure was fun going to a princess party!!!!  Thanks for inviting us, we had a blast.......

Hay Days

The joys of a small town include many things especially fun festivals and this time of the year "Hay Days."  This year we were big girls and got to walk around and check out the scarecrows ourselves (last year we weren't walking and we stayed in the stroller).  The scarecrows are made and decorated by local businesses.  We decided with Mimi that Kriner Financial must have one next year!!  We saw lots if our friends downtown and even wore our scarecrow dresses.  It was a fun night but the bugs sent us home early.

So we're going to try this..............

As most of you know I am not a computer wizard by any means, but I am willing to try this!!!  I want all of our NC family and friends to see some of our daily activities as well as all of our local friends.  Thanks to Jennifer and Deanna for encouraging me and you will have to stay on me to keep it updated.

So without further ado......... welcome to our fun, crazy world that is Ava and Bryce!!!!!!!!!!
